The liver also metabolizes fats, proteins and carbohydrates. Similarly, it helps in the storage of essentials vitamins and minerals in the body, which are necessary to maintain good health. And the main thing is that it purifies the blood from all the dangerous things that are not good for your body health.
Let’s know those things that help in curing sick liver.
1.
Exercise Daily To Lose
Weight
Exercise is the primary thing
that can help you in curing sick liver. Make a routine of exercise 4 to 5 days
a week. I have a reference to a study conducted by a team of Shira Zelber-Sagi
Prof., PhD. Head of School of Public Health. They recruited 82
patients aged 20 to 65 who had been diagnosed with fatty liver disease. Then
they divided the participants into two groups. One group was given exercise up
to 40 minutes, three times a week for three months, and they keep the second
group without exercise. The Result showed a decrease in weight and decrease
liver disease in the first group that was conducted exercise session up to 40
minutes 3 day in a week. And the second group remains the same. So, exercise either
walking, jogging or stretches are beneficial in curing sick liver. 3 to 4 days
exercise is enough in a week.
2.
Avoid Red Meat &
Processed Meat
Is red meat bad for liver disease? The answer is yes. According
to the study of oxford general conducted on 08 September 2010, “Red meat and
saturated fat intakes were associated with increased risk of chronic liver
disease (CLD) and hepatocellular carcinoma, whereas white meat intake was
associated with less than average risks of both diseases. Meat processing and
its heme iron, nitrate, and nitrite contents were associated with chronic liver
disease (CLD) but not with cancer”. So, guys avoid red meat and processed meat
if you have any liver problem.
3.
Avoid Fast Foods
Guys, fast foods snub your hunger on one hand and on the other hand it damages your liver health as well as other body parts health. According to a study at Saint Louis University Medical Center, diets high in fast food can be highly toxic to the liver and other internal organs, but that damage can be reversed, says one of the country's leading experts on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, who offers four steps to undo the effects of a 'super-size me' diet. It was probably enough to make many Americans lose their appetite: A recent study from Europe showed that eating too much fast food -- a diet high in fat and sugar -- could cause serious damage to your liver.
4. Avoid Alcohol
It is well-known saying that excess of everything is bad. According to addiction center.com, the liver can only process a certain amount of alcohol at a time. When someone has too much to drink, the alcohol left unprocessed by the liver circulates through the bloodstream. The alcohol in the blood starts affecting the heart and brain, which is how people become intoxicated. Chronic alcohol abuse causes destruction of liver cells, which results in scarring of the liver (cirrhosis), alcoholic hepatitis and cellular mutation that may lead to liver cancer. These conditions usually progress from fatty liver to alcoholic hepatitis to cirrhosis, although heavy drinkers may develop alcoholic cirrhosis without first developing hepatitis. So, guys, avoid alcohol if possible.
5. Avoid Trans Fat
Trans fat is a form of unsaturated fat associated
with several negative health effects. Guys, artificial Trans fat is
created during hydrogenation, which converts liquid vegetable oils into
semi-solid partially hydrogenated oil. Trans fat can also be found
naturally in meat and dairy. So, avoid processed meat and processed dairy
products.
